Computer users vary from each other when it comes to buying personal computers. But most of them consider that their personal computer should be designed to give accelerated performance form what they are doing. PC gamers look on the video cards specification so as to see the real graphics of the game. Photo editors or video editor prefer not only a high resolution of the monitor and high memory, they are also considering the speed of their desktop PCs so as to handle memory consuming photo/video editing softwares for their work.

This specifications had seen by Sony , and thus, created the Vaio VGC-JS1E/S Desktop PC. According to some Desktop PC Reviews this Sony product is one PC which is created to suit these specific needs. Speed, high memory, large HD storage, DVD r/w and with builtin software, this Vaio VGC-JS1E/S Desktop is one computer you are looking.

At first, my computer has been running smoothly. Until suddenly it shut down for no reason. No, there’s no power interruption or what so ever that caused it to shut down. When I pressed the power button to restart my computer, the red LED flashed, it means the power is normal. But before it reaches its revolution per minute, it shuts down again.

At this point, I started to think of the possible hardware mulfunction. I open up the casing and started to disconnect all the plug and play peripherals. To ensure no further damage on data stored in the hard drive, I disconnected to power and data cable for the hard drive and restart the competer again.

This time I am facing the motherboard while pressing the power button. I was amazed to see that before the CPU colling fan reaches its normal revolution per minutes, the PC sguts down again. I statrted to check the power supply, sus[pecting that it might supply not enough power on the motherboard.

After some testing using my digital tester, i did not find any malfunction on the power supply. Ths time I am beggining to suspect the motherboard. Again, I disconnected the the cd rom, though I have checked the power supply, I want to make if there’s some error in the motherboard.

On fifth time of resatring the computer, I noticed that there’s someting unfamiliar in the power button switch. I tried to push it again and somehow I felt it doest bounched back. Now I am begining to smile. I decide to remove the switch and replace it with the reset switch.

While checking the switch, i found out that it the one making the computer to restart again and again after pushing it. It took a lot of time, but a worth while experience. I did not think that the power switch is the causing the PC to restart.

We think of the best specifications when we are buying personal computers. We look into the physical components or the hardware to make sure it will really run fast. But don’t you know there are other reasons why you computer become slow after a few weeks or months after installing different software and programs?

You may think that your computer is already infected with some viruses, but upon running your latest anti virus you found out there’s no virus at all. It is also impossible to say that your hard drive is almost full, this really makes your computer to run slow, but a 160 GB is impossible to be occupied for just a couple of weeks or a month.

Obviously there are some things that is making your computer to run slow. For sure the reason is not one of the peripherals you recently added. It is time you check your registry because there are some programs registered there which is causing your PC to run slow.

But hey, be careful not to delete any of the lines there, unless you have prior knowledge on programming languages and familarity of program registry entry. The registry is one part of the system that makes your computer running, so you be careful.

You may think the registry is complicated, yes it is. This is the reason why computer wizards have created simple solutions to solve registry problems. Free Registry Fix Tools is a free software you can run to automatically fix your system registry so that your computer will go back to its original speed.

You don’t need to go to computer shops to consult the slowing down of your computer. Free registry repair is all you need and you can have it for just a couple clicks.
