My Simple PC Problem

February 12th, 2009

At first, my computer has been running smoothly. Until suddenly it shut down for no reason. No, there’s no power interruption or what so ever that caused it to shut down.  When I pressed the power button to restart my computer, the red LED flashed, it means the power is normal.  But before it reaches its revolution per minute, it shuts down again.

At this point, I started to think of the possible hardware mulfunction.  I open up the casing and started to disconnect all the plug and play peripherals.  To ensure no further damage on data stored in the hard drive, I disconnected to power and data cable for the hard drive and restart the competer again.

This time I am facing the motherboard while pressing the power button.  I was amazed to see that before the CPU colling fan reaches its normal revolution per minutes, the PC sguts down again.  I statrted to check the power supply, sus[pecting that it might supply not enough power on the motherboard.

After some testing using my digital tester,  i did not find any malfunction on the power supply.  Ths time I am beggining to suspect the motherboard.  Again, I disconnected the the cd rom, though I have checked the power supply, I want to make if there’s some error in the motherboard.

On fifth time of resatring the computer, I noticed that there’s someting unfamiliar in the power button switch.  I tried to push it again and somehow I felt it doest bounched back.  Now I am begining to smile.  I decide to remove the switch and replace it with the reset switch.

While checking the switch, i found out that it the one making the computer to restart again and again after pushing it.  It took a lot of time, but a worth while experience.  I did not think that the power switch is the causing the PC to restart.

Paid Reviews on Forum Site

February 1st, 2009

Paid reviews is a 100% work at home job and there lots of websites offering such extra income stream for every blogs and bloggers.  These websites are of those serious website offering services to webmasters and internet marketers.

I’ve been doing paid reviews too and I am getting some of my clients to forums sites, but lately I notice that paid review buyers seems to become reluctant in purcahsing paid reviews this days.  Though they are still buying reviews and othr links, prices of paid reviews is becoming cheap on foru sites.

I have seen a while a PR4 website offeringpaid review foronly $5 on around 200 words article review.  This is very very cheap.  Even if the website is crap, the main purpose here is to let thepage rank juice ooze to the website being reviewed.  Though this is just on a limited basis, or maybe because the owner may happen to need instant amount for soething, the offer is way to low.

Of course, there are effects especially to those other blogger who are in the real nich of writing website reviews.  This is actally one of my reasons why I shifted to those website accepting blogs for paid reviews.  Most of these websites are getting serious webmasters and internet marketers who are willing to higher than those paid reviews being offered on forum sites.
